This is a seminar on international law, which is often called “law of war and peace.” International law provides the international society with order, stability and standards on the basis of which international disputes shall be settled. Rules of international law are regulating daily conducts of states, international organizations, NGOs and individuals. One of the examples is the the Charter of the United Nations. In this seminar, some aspects of international law will be examined.
This seminar has a purpose to give students basic knowledge necessary for writing a dissertation as a partial requirement of M.A. Participants are expected to make presentation on your own research and to be actively involved in discussion.
