【1st day】Aid and its International Trend: This session will cover discussions regarding ODA and its effectiveness based on funding source such as bilateral and multilateral. Advantages and disadvantages on each funding sources will be argued and analyzed. The, past ODA strategy of the multilateral institutions, particularly the World Bank will be overviewed with various country examples.
【2nd Day】Aid to Low Income Countries: The session will focus on aid activities in International Development Association (IDA), one of the World Bank groups in charge of Heavily Indebted Poor Countries (HIPICs) and low income countries.
【3rd day】Debt Crisis and Credit Risk Analysis: The third day will discusses criterions of credit risk analysis of the project. The session will start with IMF/WB macro stabilization program with some examples and then cover debt sustainability analysis, mandatory pre-operational exercise in IMF and World Bank's projects.
【4th day】Social Protection: The session will present social protection: a recent trend in social protection and its objective. It will also discuss theory of pension and present critical arguments regarding pension reform based on past examples of pension projects.
【5th day】Country Assistance Strategy on Iraq: The current situation on Iraq will be introduced first. Then, Development Policy Lending as main assistance instrument employed in Iraq is discussed. Group study will be conducted to assess current assistance in Iraq and to find future areas for assistance.
